CATIA V5 exams scheduled for the last day of each month, spaces now available for 2017
Oxford, UK, 2 November, 2016 – Desktop Engineering (DTE), a leading engineering software solutions provider and accredited business partner of Dassault Systèmes, is running Dassault Systèmes CATIA certification exams for Part Design, Assembly Design and Surface Design on the last day of each month.
The exams take the format of multiple choice questions and live modeling with CATIA V5 R 22 to produce a live part and are conducted at DTE’s headquarters in Long Hanborough, Oxfordshire.
Earlier in 2016, DTE became the UK’s first Authorised Certification Centre.
The exams are intended to test users’ skills and competencies on CATIA by introducing practice-based scenarios which reflect real life design problems, with first level exams testing users on fundamental modeling techniques.
The exams are available in multiple languages: Simplified Chinese, English, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazilian) and Spanish. After passing an exam the attendee receives a certificate entitled ‘Associate’, if two exams are passed the individual is entitled to a ‘Specialist’ certificate.

Aimed at employed people working for partners or customers, individual consultants and students the exams are priced at £200 + VAT and take two hours to complete.
