Engineering Technology Group sets a challenge

Engineering Technology Group in association with Desktop Engineering present: Model to Manufacture Technology Challenge

1 and 2 May 2007 - Warwickshire

Engineers, manufacturers and designers are invited to a two-day “open house” event (1-2 May) hosted by Engineering Technology Group in association with Desktop Engineering.

At the event visitors will be able to experience advanced technology solutions and support to complete design-to-manufacture processes.

Over the two the days, Chrion Werke, multi-axis machining centres, Turning Technologies, turning centres, Hyfore, gigs and holding systems and Sandvik Coromant tools, will be shown along with Dassault Systemes CATIA V5 PLM, from Desktop Engineering.

Visiting Engineers will be able to bring along sketches, models and ideas, and see them turned into physical components by leading industry specialists from Engineering Technology Group.

Geoff Haines Managing Director of Desktop Engineering said. “Engineering Technology Group will showcase its strength at supply and implementation of PLM based production systems while detailing the many productivity increases available from this methodology.”

Haines also set out a challenge to engineers. “Engineering Technology Group represents the best in the model to production arena. And I challenge the UK’s vibrant engineering community to bring us its greatest ideas, and most complex problems to solve”
